Proshore is seeking a Content Writer Trainee who is dedicated to write and publish content that they are proud of and promote our products and services. The right candidate will write up-to-date, concise as well as comprehensive content while working with SEO tools and resources.

We have a casual, open office environment in Tinkune within walking distance of the Kantipur Publication Building. If this description and the items below seem like a potential fit we look forward to hearing from you.

Job Requirement

• Experience doing research using multiple sources
• Familiarity with web publications
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Familiarity with the E-Commerce industry
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Proactive in learning and implementing new ways of writing and publishing great content
• Experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role preferred but not mandatory
• Currently pursuing/completed a degree in Marketing, Communication or related field

Duties and Opportunities

• Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
• Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
• Submit work to supervisors for input and approval
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Promote content on social media
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Update website content as required
