Job Description

The Employment Fund (EF), a program funded by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and UK Department for International Development and implemented by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal, invites applications from Nepali citizen for the following position:

Position: Rural Infrastructure Engineer

Duty Station: Employment Fund Secretariat, Kathmandu Office (with frequent travel to the training and reconstruction sites in the districts)

Duration: Till December 2016 with possibility of extension

Job purpose: Supervise skills training and transfer of skills in building construction in the project districts.

Required Education and Experiences:

Bachelor in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of work experiences in the relevant area. Experience in designing and supervising construction of earthquake-resistant buildings will be an additional advantage.
