Job Description

Nepal Agriculture Market Development Programme (NAMDP) is a bilateral initiative between the Government of Switzerland and the Government of Nepal. The project is being implemented jointly by Swisscontact/ Swiss Foundation for Technical Cooperation and Center for Environmental and Agricultural Policy Research, Extension and Development (CEAPRED). We invite applications from committed and experienced Nepali citizens for the following positions: 

Position: Market Developer -1

Reports to: Sr. Market Developer

Purpose: The Market Developer will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the programme activities in the respective commodity market or cross-sectors. He/ she will be responsible for constraint analysis in selected sub-sectors, clusters and rural markets as well as for the design and implementation of a program to address these in the selected sub-sectors, clusters and rural markets.

Required Education and Experience: Master degree in management or any other relevant field, minimum 3 years experience in the field of market development or value chain development.
