Job Description

CARE Nepal hereby invides applications from interested candidates for the following full time for CARE Nepal's project on Empowering Adolescent Girls (Hausala) in Nepal for a period of 5 years.

Position: Knowledge Management Specialist( based in Kathmandu)

Key Responsibilities:

The knowledge Management Specialist will lead the Hausala project's knowledge management work and provide support to programmatic learning in order to enhance the quality and impact of the work. S/he will be responsible for providing leadership, advice and guidance to the partners, project staff on monitoring, leading action reasearch, evaluation, outcome mapping, impact assessment and reporting. A core function of this role is to build M&E and knowledge management framework and its operationalization and capacity of staff and partners in these areas. The incumbent is also responsible for the development and implement of systems, processes and behaviours that will enable the project to reflect on, detect, and learn from the changes we bring int he lives of poor, vulnerable and socially excluded women and adolescent girls at both the grassroots level and in terms of policy influence.

 

Preferred Qualifications and experience:

Master's degree in Social Science or Statistics with arelated background in the field of education/adolescent reproductive health with a minimum of five years of experience.
