- Have sound knowledge of lifestyle and entertainment-based reporting
- Develop and follow breaking news
- Write well-researched and reasoned articles
- Contribute to the process of news production including generating ideas and discussing topics and relevant issues
- Graduate degree in English or Mass Communications
- Some experience in feature writing will be given preference
- Fresh graduates with exceptionally good command of English and the ability to write may also apply
- Should have an excellent command of English
- Good news sense of both national and international affairs, strong understanding and appreciation of new trends in lifestyle
- Able to establish priorities and balance a desire for perfection with the necessity to follow deadlines
- Willing to work in shifts and during unsociable hours
- Should be proactive with a willingness to learn and work as a part of a team
- Nose for news, promptness, and communication and interpersonal skills are a must
- Willingness to cope and handle complex work situations
