The IFRC is seeking applications from qualified candidates meeting following eligibilty.
Position : Finance/Admin Assistant
Education : Minimum High School Certificate (10+2) in Management
Experience : Minimum 2 years of prior professional experience in finance and office administration
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Undertake all financial administartion and filling procedures under the direction of the Coordinator
- Prepare financial reporting according to requirements to facilitate financial and budget monitoring and inform the Coordinator on any issues to be solved
- Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments and travel arrangements of deligates and visitors
- Facilitate procurement through the preparation of requisition forms, quotation collection, Comparative Bid Analysis, purchase orders and goods received notes in accordance with relevant IFRC policies and procedures
- Provide administrative support to the Coordinator and other Flagship 2 staff; e.g. photocopying,filing,faxing,respond to routine correspondance
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent professional communications skills, both verbal and written in both English and Nepali
- Strong analytical & organizational skills, methodological and logical approach to tasks and problem solving
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and Knowledge of using latest and modern office equipment; multimedia,printer,scanner,copier,etc.
