Job Description

We are looking for data engineers who can design and develop scalable and high-performant transactional and reporting data models and data pipelines. The ideal candidate is an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up. 

Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop scalable and multi-tenant transactional and reporting data models 
• Assist data team in database performance tuning with data model and query optimization
• Design and develop data validation scripts to validate data integrity
• Data migration across multiple database platforms
• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture

Requirements:

• Prior experience in developing data schemas for any one client in production
• Hands-on knowledge in multiple database platforms like Mysql, PostgreSql, Oracle, MSSQL
• Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
• Working knowledge of message queuing and stream processing(Kafka, Spark), and highly scalable BigData and NoSQL data stores.
• Experience with BI Suites and ETL tools
• Experience with Columnar DB platforms is a big plus

Qualification:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

Nice to Have:

• An active github account with open source contributions
• Certifications, Conferences Participation, Published Journals, Papers and Articles

Work Hours:

• Full Time(Mon – Fri, 9:00AM – 6:00PM)
