NEPAL KRISHI COMPANY was established in 2012 with the intention of helping Nepali farmers increase their agricultural output and income. It plans to achieve this objective by organizing fragmented landholdings into cooperatives and assisting with appropriate technology transfer to farmers and groups they have organised in terms of production and marketing. In the first phase of its activities, technology transfer will take the form of helping mechanize the farming process. Future programmes will look into issues of availability of quality seeds, access to fertilizer, access to market and creation of storage facilities.
