Global Academy of Tourism and Hospitality Education (GATE) is one of Nepal’s leading hospitality colleges. Located in Mandikhatar, Kathmandu, it is the first college in Asia to provide a Swiss degree. GATE is also the first academy in Nepal to win an international award at the World Hospitality Award, Most innovative training program in 2011.

Global Academy of Tourism and Hospitality Education (GATE) was started in May 2007 and has since been a pioneer exploring, developing, providing and enhancing the Hospitality & Tourism Education in Nepal. Since its humble beginnings, GATE has been serving the society and the people by providing various academic, skill based, vocational (short/long) courses as well  in the coordination with CTEVT Nepal & the Australian Government recognised course: SIT30816 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery delivered in partnership with TAFE NSW (RTO 90003).

As GATE is a member of EHL Certified Schools Network the degree program “Bachelors’ Degree in International Hospitality Management (Hon.)” is articulated and accredited by the EHL, one of the best hospitality management schools in the world, Founded in 1893 in Switzerland and rank highest in its educational quality and standards globally. The Bachelor’s Degree and the same has an equivalency by “Tribhuwan University” Nepal’s largest and historic National University. EHL has its schools in Switzerland, China, Australia, Singapore and in other countries.
